MEF: Course Structure

The Master lasts 9 months (from October to June) and is structured in three terms:

Students are invited to active class participation, also via the solution of problems and exercises in small teams and the presentation of term papers.

In each course, students are evaluated with the following grades: A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C (passing grade) and F. Generally exams consist of a written test at the end of the respective course, but in some cases the evaluation is based also on other elements (such as midterm exams, term papers, presentations, oral tests, etc.).

Exams cannot be re-taken, unless a student could not sit for it due to events outside his/her control. Also in this case, the exam must be re-taken before the end of the Master program.
