LMEF stimulates international cooperation and students’ mobility, both outwards and inwards. Students are expected to spend one full semester in a European university during their second year. All LMEF courses are offered for credit to qualified foreign students, according to international exchange agreements.

LMEF also offers a double degree program with the Universidade Catolica Portuguesa. Italian students who complete this program spend the second year of LMEF at Universidade Catolica Portuguesa and obtain two diplomas: the national Portuguese diploma of MSc in Economics (MSE) and the national Italian diploma of Laurea Magistrale in Economics and Finance (LMEF).
